They are fully committed to taking care of guests and are ably assisted by a team of twelve who all live in the local valley.

Edenhouse is a seriously fabulous private lodge in the heart of rural Nelson in New Zealand’s South Island, set within 48 acres of private grounds and internationally acclaimed gardens. You have a choice of staying in one of two luxurious suites in the main lodge itself or the beautifully appointed and very private two-bedroom, two-bathroom garden cottage.

The main lodge has a beautiful sitting room, formal dining room, artists’ studio, den and library, together with courtyard areas to relax in. Open log fires are lit in the winter, providing a warm welcome home after a day of walking or horse riding or any number of outdoor activities.  Meals are created from local produce and matched with award-winning local wines.
