Ski in the Height of Luxury at La Datcha Courchevel 1850
La Datcha Chalet is located in Courchevel 1850, the highest and most prestigious part of the resort.
Les Trois Vallées, or The Three Valleys, is the world’s largest ski resort with 600km of slopes. 85% of the slopes are more than 1,800m above sea level, giving incredible snow cover from early December through until late April. And in the event that the snow is scarse, the resort has an arsenal of 2,100 snow cannons to fill the slopes. For passionate shoppers, Courchevel 1850 boasts the very best exclusive boutiques.
La Datcha Courchevel can only be booked for exclusive use for vacations with family or friends. The chalet provides comfortable accommodation for ten guests. Set over three floors, it has five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and balcony.
To keep a true chalet environment, the designers used natural fabrics. Linen and jacquard for the curtains, silk, jacquard satin, and batiste for the bedrooms, leather and canvas for the furniture. To give the chalet a feel of Russian luxury, designers focused on the details: fur for the drapery, traditional Russian patterns for the chimney, and gold leaf finish for chandeliers and floor lamps.

Oleg Tinkov, the chalet owner, spent several years looking for the best collection wines worthy of the chalet’s cellars. Eventually, he created a wine list that would be the envy of any restaurant in the Three Valleys.
Ski Les 3 Vallées
With 600km of piste, Les 3 Vallées, or The Three Valleys, is the world’s largest ski resort. 85% of the slopes are above 1800m, offering a great snow cover from early December until late April. As well as the size, the ski area quality is crucial for skiers: the snow, maintenance, ease of flow, run quality and grooming, as well as the quality of the ski lifts. That’s where Les 3 Vallées stands out.
If you do not ski, but would like to learn to, your La Datcha manager will arrange for all the necessary equipment and an instructor to teach you skiing basics in just a few lessons.
Exhausted after hours of skiing in Les 3 Vallées, head into the La Datcha spa. Finish off your day with a well-deserved massage in the spa lounge after a full day cruising the slopes.
