On this tour you take in the vast untamed outback region of The Kimberley, iconic beaches in Broome and on Rottnest island as well as the city of Perth.

Start your tour at the Cable Beach Club in Broome, the gateway to the Kimberley region has iconic beaches and a rich pearl farming history.

After a short flight explore the Kimberley outback from the fantastic El Questro Homestead before heading further into the outback and the breathtaking Purnululu (Bungle Bungle) National Park.

As the Kimberley adventure draws to a close enjoy some relaxation and a sunset boat cruise at the stunningly located Lake Argyle Resort.

Fly back to Perth and explore the city and the postcard perfect Rottnest Island, home to stunning beaches and the Quokka marsupial which is found nowhere else in the world except Rottnest Island.

Western Australia Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Depart UK

Depart UK and fly on on Qantas’ brand new Dreamliner direct to Perth

Day 2 – Arrive Perth and transfer to Broome

Arrive into Perth and take a connecting flight to Broome where you will transfer to the Cable Beach Resort.

Day 3 –  At leisure in Broome

Enjoy the facilities of the Cable Beach club which includes a fantastic spa or take a stroll along world famous Cable Beach.

Day 4 – At leisure in Broome

Visit a working pearl farm, take a sunset camel ride along the beach or just sit back and relax.

Day 5 – Flight to Kununurra and drive to El Questro Homestead

Morning at leisure before a short one hour afternoon flight to Kununurra where you will collect your 4WD and make the 90 minute drive to El Questro Homestead

Day 6 – El Questro Homestead

El Questro is a magical and ancient landscape where unique experiences are had and lifelong memories are made. Getting out and about is easy. Daily tours collect guests from El Questro Homestead. If self-guiding adventures are your thing – simply collect a map from reception, or have a chat with a Ranger who can assist you with personalised adventure.

Highlights include:

  • Remote waterfalls & swimming holes
  • Ancient gorges – many with lush tropical gardens and waterfalls
  • Majestic lookouts where you will fully appreciate the expanse of this region
  • Guided horse riding, fishing and 4wd safaris

Day 7 – El Questro Homestead

With so much to explore take another day to reach a part of the El Questro Wilderness Park you didn’t get to yesterday.

Day 8 – Drive to Purnululu National Park

Bid farewell to your wonderful hosts at El Questro and head into the untamed Purnululu National Park. Getting to the park is half the adventure and the Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge awaits you at the end of the Journey.

Day 9 –  Purnululu National Park

Take a day to explore all that the national park has to offer, there are countless walks of varying length to ancient gorges and breathtaking lookouts over the Bungle Bungle Range. A highlight of any trip to Purnululu is a helicopter flight over the unique domes. (Arranged locally)

Day 10 – Drive to Lake Argyle

Leave the park and head back towards Kununurra and beautiful Lake Argyle. The Lake Argyle Resort is perched high above the lake with stunning views from the balcony of your villa or from the resorts infinity pool this resort is the perfect place to unwind after your outback adventures.

Day 11 –At Leisure and sunset cruise Lake Argyle

A day at leisure to relax by the pool and enjoy a sunset cruise on the lake.

Day 12 –Flight to Perth

Make your way back to Kununurra after a leisurely breakfast for an early evening flight back to Perth. You will be met at the airport and transfered to the hotel.

Day 13 –At leisure in Perth

A day at leisure to explore the city and the leafy Kings Park.

Day 14 –Rottnest Island

Take a day trip to Rottnest Island, explore this postcard perfect island by bicycle where you can hop from idyllic beach to idyllic whilst keeping an eye out for the endemic Quokka, a small marsupial found only on Rottnest Island.

Day 15 – Return flight to the UK

Morning at leisure before a 6pm direct flight back to London.

Day 16 – Arrive into London

Early morning arrival into London and end of your Western Australian adventure.
