Sea Kayaking
Explore the area’s hidden coves and heavenly bays in a truly low-impact way by hopping in a kayak. Bask in the breathtaking scenery of Song Saa from the sea, or paddle out to the sunset for heart-stopping views.
Snorkelling around Song Saa Islands
The team have spent years rehabilitating their reefs and now they’re home to a colourful array of tropical fish and vibrant corals. Grab a snorkel and get to know some of the local fish species: parrotfish, damselfish, sea horses, spotted rays and even sea turtles. If you are a qualified Diver, the Water Sports Manager will be delighted to take you out to see some of Cambodia’s finest sites. Please note we advise certified Divers to register their firm request with us prior to arrival at the resort.
Bioluminescence Trip
Song Saa Private Island is incredibly lucky to be one of the few places in the world where it is possible to see Bioluminescent Plankton in the water on a regular basis after dark. Guests might be lucky enough to see it on the main beach at night or if you are residing in the Overwater Villas but normally, you need to go out to deeper water by boat.
Morning Yoga & Private Meditation
Start the day with some sun salutations. Daily morning yoga class is suitable for all levels. By arrangement, wellbeing therapists can also conduct a private one-hour session in your villa, or in one of the immersive island locations.
Sala Song Saa
Join the conservation team for a tour of Prek Svay village on the neighbouring island to observe the Foundation’s efforts in supporting the local community. Should you wish to donate, please feel free to do so directly with the Foundation team.
Island Safari
Explore the ‘sweetheart’ islands – Koh Ouen and Koh Bong – with a guide from the Conservation Team. Get to know local species, habitats and ecosystems, and the conservation work done to protect them. Departing from the Song Saa Private Island Discovery Centre, safaris can be tailored for adults, families or children.
Buddhist Ceremonies
We can arrange a traditional blessings ceremony by a local team of Buddhist monks. A truly memorable moment for birthdays, weddings, and honeymoons, blessing ceremonies take place at one of the magical locations around the island.
Spa
Wellbeing and total relaxation are not hard to find at the property. Whilst there is no central spa building, secluded private salas are dotted about in the surrounding jungle or on the beach, which provide guests with a number traditional Khmer as well as western treatments.

The resort is a 35 minute speedboat ride from Sihanoukville, located on Cambodia’s south coast. Sihanoukville is a 2-hour drive from the capital Phnom Penh and the town has a functioning airport with daily flights operating from Siem Reap
