When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.  At this time commenting on the site is not enabled.

Contact forms

We will use the data you submit to contact you and deal with your enquiry.  The data is non sensitive such as your name, email, telephone number.

Email Marketing

Like many organisations, we use a variety of third-party platforms to support our communications. You can subscribe to our mailing list to receive news updates and give your consent to be notified about new destinations and special offers. We use Mailchimp, a third party email platform, to share insights.

When you subscribe to our mailing list we ask you for your email. Your data is held within these third party platforms. Mailchimp has its own security and privacy policy.

Mailchimp uses email tracking. Email tracking tells us when you opened an email and what links you clicked on. We use this information to improve our communications, and include general information such as open and click-through rates to inform communications planning and reporting.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. At this time only administrators can login and no information is stored for any other users.

We make a general note of your contact details via the site contact form and within our physical office.

How we protect data – security features are installed on the site such as a firewall and administrator login protection.  An SSL certificate is also installed to verify the authenticity of ownership.  All core software is regularly updated.

At this time, we do not collect data other than non sensitive contact information in order to deal with an enquiry through the contact form.
