The L’Orologio Venezia is a luxury 4 star-hotel located just a few steps from the famous Rialto Market: the heart of Venice.
The Hotel L’Orologio sits in the sestiere San Polo close to the famous Rialto Bridge and its historical food market. The San Polo sestiere has its origins around its main square Campo San Polo, second only in size to St Mark’ s Square. The Rialto is one of the four bridges spanning the Grand Canal in Venice. The oldest bridge across the canal, it is the dividing line for the districts of San Marco and San Polo.
The area is lively in the morning with the market is open every day except Sundays, and in the evening there are plenty of bars frequented by locals and tourists alike. This part of the city is interesting not only from an artistic and historical point of view but also because it is home to many Venetians. It’s an intriguing part of the city to get lost in. From the hotel, enjoy the view of Venice’s most magnificent palazzo originally known as the Palazzo Santa Sofia but now commonly known as the Ca’ d’Oro (House of Gold).
On the ground floor of the hotel is the L’O Bar. A lounge bar with a great atmosphere, it has an elegant stone counter and vintage leather armchairs. Thanks to its picturesque location overlooking the Grand Canal, the large windows present spectacular views out over the waters of the lagoon.
