Savile Row Travel

Located off the coast of Townsville and rising from the northernmost cluster of peaks of the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef’s ‘Great Palm’ archipelago, Pelorus Island is 400 hectares of pristine, virgin habitat and surrounding shallow waters and superb fringing reefs, all yours to explore. Accessible by helicopter or private yacht.

A naturally isolated single, sprawling residence featuring four luxurious suites, making it the only luxury private island residence in the region. An intimate dwelling best shared with family and friends seeking a memorable getaway together.

Accommodation

Four lavish suites live on Pelorus, in the only structure on the island, where visitors need not compromise between luxury and seclusion. Previously, you would have had to settle for sharing the island with a resort or booking out multiple residences. In a nod to the region’s architectural history, chic-but-understated Queenslander designed spot manages perfectly to keep the focus on nature, while simultaneously providing exquisite indulgence.

Depending on your group’s needs and desires, the island’s exclusive support staff can include a handpicked personal chef  group needs, a steward, a manager, and an events team.

Dining

With your on-site dining team bringing your favourite flavours and produce to your table, flex from formal dining and wine pairing, to relaxed, casual meals and signature cocktails designed for enjoyment. Let’s start creating your personal dining and drinking experience

The Island

Pelorus Island is unique amongst its Palm Island family due to its beautiful white-sand beach. The shallows are pristine and glossy, while a colourful reef (perfect for snorkelling) sits only 20 metres from the shore, giving guests everything they could desire.

There is also a range of bespoke activities available to all guests, with access to two 35-metre boats and a 61-foot game boat (in the works) included. Nearby Hinchinbrook Island is Australia’s largest island national park, offering hikes, waterfalls, and rare flora and fauna, while guided jet-ski and seabob tours, and excursions to the Museum of Underwater Art can also be arranged.
