King Spa Rooms

King Spa Rooms offer a spacious open plan bedroom and lounge space, a private ensuite with spa bathtub and open fireplace in the lounge, and boast sweeping views that take in the private vineyard and stretch beyond to the mountain backdrop. The 45 sqm room also features a Spicers King size bed (twin bedding available on request), open fireplace, granite bathroom with shower and spa bathtub, desk, mini bar, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat screen TV and an iPod dock. All five ground floor King Spa rooms feature French doors opening onto a verandah, while three first floor rooms boast sweeping vineyard and mountain views.

Luxury Spa Suites

The Luxury Spa Suites feature separate lounge areas with bluestone fireplaces and the option of a private courtyard on the ground floor or a balcony on the first floor. Tastefully decorated in muted tones, these 50 sqm rooms also feature a King size bed (twin bedding available on request), fireplace, ensuite with rain shower and separate spa bathtub, double vanity, underfloor heating and heated towel rack, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, mini bar, air conditioning, iPod dock and a flat screen TV. The four Luxury Spa Suites feature the option of a private courtyard or balcony with stunning views.

Vineyards House

A separate four-bedroom home features a spacious lounge with fireplace, full kitchen and dining area, and private pool. Vineyards House is the perfect place for those wanting a private luxury escape with friends or family with Restaurant Botanica, Spa Anise day spa and 22 acres of vineyards and grounds right on your doorstep. The house includes à la carte breakfasts, four bedrooms (62 sqm master bedroom with sitting area upstairs and three bedrooms downstairs) with king or twin beds sleeping up to eight, two bathrooms, Spicers robes and slippers for all guests, four fireplaces throughout the house, full kitchen and dining table, large lounge space, wrap-around verandah with outdoor setting, large outdoor pool, outdoor barbeque area with fire pit and chairs, iron, hairdryer and laundry.

Restaurant Botanica

Restaurant Botanica is a favourite of visitors and locals alike. Its heartfelt take on simple, robust French Bistro and modern Australian cuisines, with a hint of English complexion, results in a menu that is at once familiar and rewarding. A thematic of rustic home cooking is felt throughout – imagine coq a vin, beef stroganoff and roasted lamb breast – whilst playful dishes such as sourdough ice cream with vegemite caramel and a famous lobster roll have all featured and add a touch of intrigue. Botanica boasts considered, generous and playful dishes, the best drops from the Hunter, a vibrant cocktail list and genuinely warm hospitality. This Hunter Valley gem is a culinary destination to enjoy with those closest.

In the heart of Pokolbin, the restaurant showcases Australian-grown ingredients and utilises classic and modern French techniques. Guests can expect to see locally sourced sourdough bread, fresh market crudites, the best cuts of beef, fresh seafood and a celebration of roasted, pickled, preserved and baked vegetables complimented by decadent desserts and carefully crafted vegan and vegetarian dishes.

As would be expected of such an establishment, the wine list is educated and extensive. Guests are invited to explore the best of the region, and the team is always ready to impart their exceptional wine knowledge and to help pair the dishes with the Hunter’s iconic wines. The cocktail offering is carefully curated, using kitchen garden and botanical spirits and alcohol-free alternatives to create an experience that will please all.

Spa Anise at Spicers Vineyards Estate in Pokolbin is an elegant day spa with two treatment rooms with private courtyards. Our fully qualified therapists are on hand to ease the stress of life with a luxurious range of treatments including aromatherapy massages, hot stone massages, performance facials and full body treatments.

We recommend booking all spa treatments prior to arrival to ensure you receive your desired time. Mobile phones are not permitted in the spa. Wear comfortable clothing and leave all valuables in the safety of your room. All appointments on Sundays and public holidays carry a 15% surcharge.
