Exploring
The UNESCO temples of Angkor are clearly the main draw here; the complex is located 5km outside of Siem Reap. Private excursions to watch the sunrise over the ancient ruins of Ta Prohm or the famous towers of Angkor Wat can easily be arranged. Further afield the outer complex temples such at Beng Melea or Koh Ker can easily be reached as well as the mighty Tonle Sap lake home to intriguing floating villages.

Flight information
There are no direct flights from the UK to Cambodia. Flights operate several times a day from the capital Phnom Penh as well as from major Asian hubs such as Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. It is an 11-hour flight to Bangkok followed by a further 1-hour flight to Siem Reap.
