Savile Row Travel

Le Val Thorens is the story of a legend reborn

Built-in the 1970s and one of the resort’s first hotels, this ski-in, ski-out building has been completely renovated in a contemporary retro style. Its huge, iconic outdoor terrace and the stunning views of the slopes are still in place, however, and the interior has kept its same thrilling energy. A busy, bustling lobby, a brasserie with myriad culinary influences, and a flamboyant bar are all in place, while the beautiful rooms, wellness spa and pool are havens of peace. Exciting and relaxing, Le Val Thorens is the place to be.

All day delicious....

Dining

From your first coffee of the day to a quick lunch, a traditional fondue at dinner and your last late-night cocktail, Le Val Thorens has great options for locally inspired food and drinks. Convenient, welcoming, fun, chic, and, above all, mouth-watering.

Le 1971

With its upholstered velvet seats and rich wood, Le 1971 is a new bar with an old-school feel – and the place to party. Perched at the elegant bar, lounging on the banquettes or nestled by the roaring fire, you can enjoy great playlists and lively DJ sets while sipping a classic cocktail served with a modern twist. Le 1971 is the home of stylish 1970s thrills, from 8 am to midnight.

La Fondue

There’s something to be said for tradition, and at La Fondue, that means timeless, high-altitude classics – with extra cheese. This Alpine menu features raclette, tartiflette and – of course – fondue. Authentic and honest.

La Brasserie Du Val Thorens

During the day, the slope-side outdoor terrace is packed with skiers, sunseekers, and after-ski lovers enjoying quick and tasty local specialities, like Savoyard hot dogs, croque-monsieurs with Beaufort cheese, and blueberry tarts, either to eat in or take away. In the evening, guests can take their time with generous, carefully crafted bistro fare in stylish surroundings.

Breakfast

Jams, dairy products, breads, granola, fresh fruit, eggs, pastries, hams, cheeses… From 7 am to 10 am, the region and its side dishes will whet your appetite at the Val Thorens Brasserie buffet. Perfect to start the day on the right foot.

Half Board

As the day goes by, you will feel more and more at home. Not having to worry about where to dine. To be able to choose each evening between the bourgeois dishes of La Brasserie du Val Thorens, its cheese cuisine at La Fondue, or even, for an extra charge, the Fitz Roy restaurant next door. These are the advantages of their half-board…

Perfect ways to end a long day...

Spa & Wellness

Sunbathe on your balcony or the huge terrace. Relax by the pool or in the spa. Perfect ways to end a long day spent off-piste skiing in the breathtaking mountains. Soothing.

Outdoor Sports

It’s all about the mountains, of course, with plenty of ways to explore their heights. Between sky and snow, head off-piste on skis a fat bike, or a sled train. Thrilling adventures await.

Yoga For All

A special room in the hotel with a view over the peaks is the perfect place for stretching out and relaxing with yoga sessions at the end of the day. Pure relaxation. In the morning, at the swimming pool of the neighbouring hotel Le Fitz Roy, movement classes are held. An opportunity to develop flexibility, mobility and coordination.

Healthy Eating

Le Val Thorens’ menus feature seasonal, local, generous and delicious food – which can be adapted to meet any dietary requirement.

Peak Fitness

Head to the fitness centre to exercise on the latest equipment – rowing and running machines, weights, and bikes.
