Savile Row Travel

The Shangri-La Paris is the former home of Prince Roland Bonaparte, gracefully restored as a Parisian palace.

Its position gives breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower and is home to Shang Palace, France’s only Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant. After seeing the sights, relax by the beautiful indoor pool bathed in natural daylight thanks to enormous glass windows, located in what was once Prince Roland Bonaparte’s stables.

Centrally located in the 16th arrondissement, minutes from the Champs-Elysées, the hotel blends European grandeur with traditional Asian hospitality.

ROOMS & SUITES

Each of the 100 rooms and suites are individually designed in a distinct French-meets-Asian style, dominated by a calming Rococo colour scheme and bathed in natural light. Many rooms can interconnect to accommodate larger families or groups.

Duplex Terrace Eiffel View Suite – 70m²

The sumptuous Duplex Terrace Eiffel View Suites provide awe-inspiring views of the iconic Eiffel Tower from a private, furnished terrace. These one-bedroom suites offer guests a unique stay across two levels of living space and feature high ceilings, an elegant marble bathroom, an oversized master bedroom and a separate living room with luxurious furnishings.

L’Appartement Prince Bonaparte – 275m²

The extraordinary L’Appartement Prince Bonaparte was originally the private residence of Prince Roland Bonaparte.

This expansive one-bedroom suite is a shining example of the Directoire style. It has 5-metre-high ceilings with authentic crown mouldings and gilt work, Versailles-style parquet floors, period artwork and decor that seamlessly blends classic French late 18th century design with subtle Asian influences.

Dining at Shangri-La Paris

Experience the art of Cantonese fine dining at the Shangri-La’s Shang Palace restaurant, the only Chinese restaurant in France to be awarded a Michelin star. Inspired by Southeast China’s culinary traditions, the restaurant creates authentic Chinese cuisine served in a main dining room and two private dining rooms.

Restaurant La Bauhinia serves a unique blend of French and South-East Asian cuisine. Inspired by the flower of the same name, La Bauhinia recalls the Shangri-La’s Asian origins and offers a unique atmosphere in the heart of this hotel-palace. Above the restaurant, the extraordinary glass “dome”, designed by the famous architect Maurice Gras, bathes the restaurant in light.
