Classic Attic Rooms
The room which never ceases to amaze. Featuring a double bed with finely decorated duvets, so you can be embraced by total comfort; sofa or armchair, to read or chat in total relaxation; large bathroom, with bath tub or shower, to pamper yourself as you relax. From the private balcony, enjoy the beauty of the Matterhorn. High speed Wi-Fi, a welcome on arrival with fruits and home made chocolates, Nespresso coffee machine, a minibar with selection of beverages, wines liqueurs, Champagne, and a selection of chocolate and delicacies by Venchi, towelling bathrobe in pure Italian cotton and slippers and a centralised TV channel system are featured in the room.
Deluxe Rooms
Delightful open spaces with all the light of the mountain and all the warmth of the wood. Bright environments, comfortable and welcoming, the Deluxe Rooms are ideal for two or three guests. The rooms have a double bed, a sofa bed armchair and coffee table. The bathroom is spacious and elegant, with bathtub or shower. The balcony offers a panoramic view of the mountains.
Junior Suite
Designed with great attention to detail, an elegant blend of materials, fine fabrics and extreme refinement while maintaining that warm mountain flavour. With large windows and a large bathroom, the suite is accessible to the disabled, with an AC system. Each has a balcony on the sunny side of the Hotel.
Prestige Suite
Three spacious suites of 50 m², romantic and comfortable, finely furnished in alpine style. Ideal for couples, or families of three or four people. The Prestige suites feature a warm and welcoming lounge with sofa bed for children, armchair, writing desk and coffee table. The sleeping area includes a room with double bed and a walk-in wardrobe.
Master Suite
The ideal choice to enjoy the sunset on Plateau Rosa as you sip a cup of hot tea and eat a slice of freshly baked cake. Carpets, wooden paintings and sculptures by local artists. An open space designed to make your stay an unforgettable experience, featuring sofas, armchairs, a writing desk, a coffee table and a characteristic fireplace.
Family & Connecting Rooms
The Apartment “Caterina di Challant” is composed of a double Prestige Suite (possibility to add two beds) and a Classic room. The apartment is on the first floor and creates a spacious environment which is intimate and discreet.
Dining
La Chandelle Restaurant
The 5-star restaurant of the relais is the home of traditional Aosta Valley and Piedmont dishes, combined with a modern and forward-looking cuisine by expert chefs. In the dining room, through the large bay windows, the Matterhorn joins the head waiter in watching over the excellent service.
Le Bistrot de l’Hermitage
Enjoy lunch in this beautiful restaurant or sit outdoors in the garden to enjoy the sun and the fresh air. Meals are based on traditional ingredients from the Alps, Aosta Valley and Piedmont, devoured ahead of breathtaking mountain views.
Bar
Experience the warm and comfortable atmosphere of the mountain, with unique and romantic evenings in the bar with a backdrop of beautiful live music. A careful selection of champagne and cocktails are on offer here, alongside unique aperitifs with gourmet specialties and finger food.
The Cellar
A cellar dug into rock and decorated by hand with local stone, perfect for an unforgettable tasting session. Choose to enjoy an exclusive evening with a private waiter and local dishes paired with selected wines from over 1000 in the cellar. Or, simply enjoy a tasting of whichever wine takes your fancy.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served from early morning until 10:30am to cater for all guests’ needs. Venture into the large dining area with an espresso or a creamy cappuccino and sit down to a buffet style or à la carte breakfast (whichever you prefer). Cakes, croissants and desserts are all home-made and sit alongside alpine butter, local yogurt, artisan marmalades, honey from the valley, cheeses from local farms, cold cuts, Parma ham, a fresh selection of breads, walnuts, figs, raisins and eggs and omelettes prepared by the kitchen.

The Mountain
Alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, heli-skiing… Just 300 metres from the hotel, the Breuil-Cervinia ski resort is a spectacle of summits and exhilarated skiers flying down the mountain. Situated on the Southern face of the Matterhorn, bathed in constant sunshine, it is both one of the most beautiful, highest and largest in the world. Its 360 km of slopes reach up to Klein Matterhorn, at 3900 metres, and carry experienced skiers to Valtournenche or Zermatt on the Swiss side, all the while giving them the rare privilege of never having to ski the same run twice.
