Original and contemporary, overlooking the Canal Grande, Hotel L'Orologio is perfectly positioned for the atmosphere and history of Venice
The L’Orologio Venezia is a luxury 4 star-hotel located just a few steps from the famous Rialto Market: the heart of Venice.
The Hotel L’Orologio sits in the sestiere San Polo close to the famous Rialto Bridge and its historical food market. The San Polo sestiere has its origins around its main square Campo San Polo, second only in size to St Mark’ s Square. The Rialto is one of the four bridges spanning the Grand Canal in Venice. The oldest bridge across the canal, it is the dividing line for the districts of San Marco and San Polo.
The area is lively in the morning with the market is open every day except Sundays, and in the evening there are plenty of bars frequented by locals and tourists alike. This part of the city is interesting not only from an artistic and historical point of view but also because it is home to many Venetians. It’s an intriguing part of the city to get lost in. From the hotel, enjoy the view of Venice’s most magnificent palazzo originally known as the Palazzo Santa Sofia but now commonly known as the Ca’ d’Oro (House of Gold).
On the ground floor of the hotel is the L’O Bar. A lounge bar with a great atmosphere, it has an elegant stone counter and vintage leather armchairs. Thanks to its picturesque location overlooking the Grand Canal, the large windows present spectacular views out over the waters of the lagoon.
The 43 rooms of Hotel L’Orologio in Venice – many of which directly overlook the Grand Canal – have a distinctly modern and minimalist character with great attention to detail. All the rooms, are equipped and with avant-garde lighting, and unite marble, wood and leather, with unusual combinations and effects.
The Suite with Grand Canal view is a homage to a contemporary style with strong colour nuances that characterise the atmosphere. The red velvet wall curtains render a classic Venetian touch to the environment, whilst the concept of luxury is reinterpreted in a modern way.
Alternatively, the L’O Venezia Flat next to the hotel offers guests the opportunity to experience the most romantic city in true Venetian style. These two luxurious apartments are available for a minimum of two/three night stays. Here guests can enjoy all the comforts and services offered by our hotel in the intimacy of a private home.
With family and interconnecting rooms, the Hotel L’Orologio is also a good base for a family city break where children are very welcome.
