Savile Row Travel

From the great wide world to the smallest detail

All individual parts come together here high on the rock to form an atmospheric whole. The location, the architecture and the design are one component. But the most important element is you, our guest, with your individual wishes and needs to which we respond with personal service in an informal way. Here, you should feel at ease, you should quite simply be yourself. This is the place for unforgettable moments in calm and harmony.

A dialog between the cultures

The Omnia is the contemporary interpretation of the traditional mountain lodge. Here in the Swiss Alps, the mountain lodge, a quintessentially American concept, has been reinvented for its European environment by the New York based architect Ali Tayar (1959 – 2016). This dialogue between two cultures was the starting point for the design.

Skiing under the shadow of the Matterhorn

At Europe’s highest ski resort – at an altitude of 3883m – enthusiasts gather from all over the world to experience the magic of Zermatt. With 360 kilometres of blue, red, black and yellow runs, Zermatt promises fantastic skiing to all visitors. Guests can use modern lifts and cable cars, including the Matterhorn Glacier Ride, and the supporting programme of events includes some unforgettable gourmet delights and shopping facilities.

Accommodation

Beautifully appointed rooms and suites feature warm materials, carefully selected photographs, design classics, Aesop skincare products and unrivalled views of the Matterhorn, the rooftops of the village and swathes of mountain forest. The Omnia has 30 Rooms including 12 Suites, a library with a fireplace, a restaurant with a fireplace, a lounge bar, sun terrace and wellness centre.

No room is identical; they vary in layout and sizes, ranging from Queen Size rooms (24m2) to Double Deluxe rooms (45m2), the Suites (70m2), the Tower Suites (90m2) and, finally, the OMNIA Roof Suite (110m2).

Dining

Tantalising cuisine

Responsible for the culinary concept is our Executive Chef Tony Rudolph. He is a master of his art: the art of setting the perfect stage for the synergies of different tastes and thus for the authenticity of local Alpine and seasonal quality products. Pure, uncomplicated, modern – often with a twist and flavourful nuances of faraway places.

Restaurant

In the 40-seat restaurant you’ll feel like you’re spending an evening having dinner as guests in the home of friends. The understated staff and architecture, the flickering fire and the soft light create a unique atmosphere. After dinner, guests can relax on the sofa in front of the fire, sipping espresso and grappa.

Terrace

Enjoy the afternoon facing the southern sky on the sun terrace with the Matterhorn as your neighbour. Delicacies from the kitchen are served every day for guests of the hotel as well as visitors.

Board Room

The boardroom is part of the lounge. Enjoy the views onto the rooftops of Zermatt, the local pine trees or into the rainforest of Uruguay through the lens of photographer Balthasar Burkhard. We recommend a cup of coffee from Amici or a cup of tea from the Far East together with the delicacies from the Kitchen.

For private events or meetings up to 10 people, we can close the room at any given time and equip it with State-of-the-Art technology.

Lounge Bar

You are always welcome to enjoy the time at THE OMNIA lounge and the library containing hundreds of art publications. Savour one of many delicious whiskeys. Before dinner sit back, relax and enjoy the craft of our barkeeper.

In-Room Dining

A wide array of our local delicacies from our menu is served in your room. Here you can relax with no disturbance, on your balcony on the sheepskin or in front of the fireplace in your Omnia Suite. Or just at the start of the day with a lovely breakfast.
