Experience the magic of down under

Australia is a wonderfully vast and varied country located in the southern hemisphere, with awe-inspiring landscapes, stunning beaches, spectacular natural wonders, oceans full of incredible sea-life, and beautiful, buzzing cities. The 6th largest nation in the world covering an area of nearly 7.6 million square kilometres, Australia is home to over 25 million people from many different backgrounds. The country’s population is predominantly made up of English-speaking Australians, with a strong presence of Indigenous Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The country’s unique landscape could be explored for years. Striking natural beaches dot the 36,000km coastline, while the interior is filled with vast grasslands, plains, woodlands and wetlands. It’s also surrounded by thousands of islands – many of which are uninhabited and covered in pristine vegetation – and close to neighbouring adventures in New Zealand and French Polynesia.

The country has one of the most diverse climates in the world, ranging from tropical in the north to temperate regions in the south, while also experiencing extreme occurrences like cyclones and cyclonic storms during certain seasons. Depending on what you want to do while you’re over here, the best time of year to visit is normally November to March (their summer).

Australia’s rich cultural history embraces both traditional heritage and modern influences – as seen in its music, art and literature – which makes for a vibrant mix that adds colour to day-to-day life down under! Whether you head across to the East to experience the magic of Sydney, Fraser Island, Byron Bay, Surfer’s Paradise, and the Whitsundays, down to mesmerising Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide,  and Tasmania, across to Perth or up to Darwin, the possibilities are endless for a trip to Australia.
